What is GreenlightPA?

GreenlightPA helps teams quickly determine if a medication requires prior authorization and whether it is likely to be covered β€” referencing the latest insurer-specific policies for your state.

What it does

Instant PA Checks

Know within seconds if a medication like Dupixent or Stelara is likely to be covered.

Clinic-Specific Versions

We tailor tools to your practice’s most prescribed drugs and insurers.

No PHI β€’ No Login

Runs directly in your browser β€” fast, secure, and private by design.

Policy-Aware Logic

Our system actively monitors insurer policy documents to help keep your tools current and reliable.

Some insurer–drug combinations may be temporarily unavailable or pending verification. When a policy reference is missing, GreenlightPA will show this transparently.

Lightning-Fast

Lightweight, zero-login experience so staff can get answers without friction.

Built to Scale

Designed to extend to any clinic, state, or medication set.

✨ New feature

Which drug will actually get approved?

The Drug Recommender is a new tool that works differently from the standard PA checker. Instead of looking up a specific drug, you describe your patient β€” their age, insurer, disease extent, and what topical therapies they've already tried.

The tool then ranks Dupixent and Adbry across Aetna, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare β€” showing which combination is most likely to be approved today, and exactly what documentation is still needed.

Particularly useful for pediatric patients, patients who have already tried one biologic, or when you want to know upfront which insurer pathway has the least friction.

What it considers

  • βœ“Patient age β€” Adbry requires age β‰₯12; Dupixent is approved from 6 months
  • βœ“Insurer step therapy requirements β€” UHC requires 2 of 3 topical classes; Aetna and Cigna require 1
  • βœ“Prior biologic use β€” Aetna bypasses step therapy entirely if a biologic was tried in the past year
  • βœ“Disease extent β€” BSA threshold, essential area involvement, hand/foot pathways
  • βœ“Authorization duration β€” UHC grants 12 months upfront vs 4 months for Aetna and Cigna

No PHI. No login. Based on published insurer policies updated March 2026.
